Terms
The terms, in plain words.
Last updated 15 October 2026.
Using Roomwave
Roomwave lets presenters ask questions that an audience answers on their phones. By creating an account or joining a session you agree to these terms. If you use Roomwave for an organisation, you agree to them on its behalf.
Your content
Presentations, questions and answers belong to the people who wrote them. You give us permission to store and show them only so that Roomwave can work: to put them on the screen, on phones and in your results.
Fair use
- Do not use Roomwave to harass, threaten or deceive anyone, or to collect information people have not agreed to give.
- Do not try to break, overload or get around the limits of the service.
- Presenters are responsible for the sessions they run and for moderating them.
We may suspend an account or end a session that breaks these rules. We will tell you why unless the law prevents it.
Plans and payment
Free stays free within its limits. Paid plans are billed by invoice in Kenyan shillings, for the period shown on the invoice. A Pro trial lasts 14 days and ends by itself; nothing is charged unless you ask us to invoice you.
Availability
We work hard to keep Roomwave running, especially during live sessions, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. Answers already saved are kept if a connection drops.
Liability
Roomwave is provided as it is. As far as the law allows, we are not liable for indirect losses, and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Changes and the law
We may update these terms, and we will tell account holders about important changes by email before they apply. These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya.
